Modern policing started after the Bow Street Runners were amalgamated into the Metropolitan Police Force in 1829. Now, as a former officer at Bow Street Police Station in London's Covent Garden, WC2 I have created this site in order that former colleagues can keep in touch via regular reunions and newsletters.
If you ever served at the most famous Police Station in the world as a Police Officer, civilian or Traffic Warden then please get in touch. If you are looking for information on ancestors we might be able to help you too. The spirit of the old station is alive and well despite the fact that it has been closed for many years. Good luck.
